Der Terminus Dysphagie bezeichnet eine Schluckstörung, die bei neurologischen und geriatrischen Patienten neben Sprach-, Sprech- und Stimmstörungen zu einem hohen Prozentsatz auftreten. Werden Schluckstörungen nicht rechtzeitig erkannt und behandelt, drohen den Patienten lebensbedrohliche Folgen wie Mangelernährung oder Lungenentzündung.

Inhalte des Seminars

* Anatomie, Physiologie und Neurologie des Schluckens
* Ätiologie von Dysphagien im Überblick
* Klinische und apparative Diagnostik
* Therapie von Dysphagien: funktionelle, kompensatorische
und adaptive Verfahren
* Trachealkanülenmanagement

Requirements for participation, required level

Voraussetzung sind Grundlagen zu HNO und Neurologie.
