270266 Wie die Welt im Kopf entsteht: Einblicke aus den experimentellen Neurowissenschaften (S) (WiSe 2025/2026)

In diesem Seminar werden wir gemeinsam das Buch "Making up the mind: how the brain creates our mental world" von Chris Frith (2007, erschienen bei Blackwell Publishing) lesen und diskutieren. Dabei beschäftigen wir uns mit Fragen wie: Wie konstruiert das Gehirn unser mentales Erleben, (z.B. unsere physikalische und kulturelle Umwelt, unser Selbst…)? Welche Auswirkungen in diesem Konstruktionsprozess haben Hirnverletzungen oder Drogen? (Wie) Können wir Realität und Fiktion unterscheiden?
 Das Buch liefert erste Antworten auf diese Fragen, indem Ergebnisse aus Studien mit bildgebenden Verfahren, psychologischen Experimenten und Patientenstudien dargestellt werden.
Das Seminar beginnt immer um 08:30 Uhr
