Kognitive Kontrolle bezeichnet eine Reihe von Gehirnprozessen, die notwendig für fortgeschrittene Formen des Handelns und Denkens jenseits von routine-basierter Verarbeitung sind. In dem Seminar wird ein aktuelles Überblicksbuch eines promintenden Forschendes dieses Feldes, "On Task: How Our Brain Gets Things Done" von David Badre (2020) erarbeitet und diskutiert.
Lernziele und Kompetenzerwerb:
- Einen verständlichen und wissenschaftlich validen Vortrag zu halten
- Produktive Diskussionsfragen zu wissenschaftlichen Texten formulieren sowie die zugehörige Diskussion mit
den anderen Studierenden leiten- Kurzgefasste und wissenschaftlich fundierterte Beantwortung aktueller Forschungsfragen (vom Veranstalter vorgegeben, Lernraum plus)

Das Seminar richtet sich an BSc Hauptfach-Studierende, die das Anwendungsfach „Neurowissenschaften“ gewählt haben. Grundlegende Kenntnisse in Allgemeiner Psychologie, Physiologischer Psychologie und Methodenlehre sowie der Besuch der Vorlesungen „Kognitive Neurowissenschaften I & II“ werden vorausgesetzt.
