Ziel und Inhalt
In diesem Proseminar geht es einerseits um das Kennenlernen des Faches Kirchengeschichte und andererseits das Einüben kirchengeschichtlicher Methoden. Letzteres soll anhand von Texten zur Kirchengeschichte des 19. Jahrhunderts geschehen. Insbesondere sollen die Erweckungsbewegung und die Antwort der protestantischen Kirchen auf die soziale Frage im 19. Jahrhundert betrachtet werden. Die Erweckungsbewegung war für den Protestantismus in Deutschland und für die Antwort der protestantischen Kirchen von entscheidender Bedeutung. Anhand von wichtigen Texten soll die Erweckungsbewegung und die Entstehung der Inneren Mission kennengelernt werden.
