Die Studierende sind in der Lage, mit Elementen des Computational Thinking Anwendungsprobleme aus der Medizin zu analysieren, in Teilschritte zu zerlegen und algorithmische Lösungen dafür zu nennen. Sie können basale Konzepte der Informatik erläutern und in digitalen Anwendungen identifizieren. Die Studierenden kennen Ansätze aus der Medizininformatik und sind in der Lage, die gelernten Konzepte aus dem Computational Thinking und den Grundlagen der Informatik darauf anzuwenden. Die gelernten Ansätze und Konzepte können sie kritisch vor dem Hintergrund des ärztlichen Handelns reflektieren. Die Studierenden werden dazu befähigt, in diesem Themenbereich die Projektarbeit zu schreiben.


In diesem Modul sollen zunächst die Grundlagen sowohl für die Bewertung als auch die aktive Gestaltung von Informatiksystemen gelegt werden. Das beinhaltet Elemente des \"computational thinking\" aber auch informatische Grundlagen, wie z.B. einen anwendungsorientierten Überblick über basale Elemente der Informatik wie Architekturkonzepte oder Betriebssysteme. Zum anderen wird hier ein Überblick über Themen aus der klassischen Medizininformatik gegeben, wie beispielsweise funktionale Genomanalyse, Krankenhausinformationssysteme etc. Diese Inhalte werden jeweils kritisch vor dem Hintergrund der medizinischen Transformation und des ärztlichen Handelns reflektiert.
