Das Seminar zielt darauf ab, Studierenden der Erziehungswissenschaften grundlegendes theoretisches Wissen und Praxiskompetenzen für eine geschlechtersensible Gewaltschutzberatung zu vermitteln. Formen und Folgen von Gewalterfahrungen, internationale Menschenrechtskonventionen, gesetzliche Grundlagen und Polizeirichtlinien,die Bedeutung von Netzwerken als Voraussetzung für die Gestaltung effektiver Intervention und Unterstützung werden als Basis der Beratungsarbeit in die Erarbeitung des Themas mit einbezogen. In Kleingruppenarbeit und praxisbezogenen Übungen soll eine Annäherung und Selbstreflexion der eigenen Haltung an eine geschlechtersensible Gewaltschutzberatung erfolgen.
