Das Seminar bietet einen Überblick, in dem Fabeldichtung (Äsop- und Phädrusrezeption), Tierepos (bes. Ysengrimus und Brunellus), Physiologusliteratur und enzyklopädische Tierdichtung zur Sprache kommen werden. Der Schwerpunkt wirdauf den ersten beiden Themen liegen, die anderen beiden kommen ergänzend zur Sprache.
