In this course we will focus on different methods, approaches and appropriate literature for learners of EFL in primary school. Furthermore we will discuss how to differentiate and to implement individual prompting, to create tests and how to asses.

Please get a copy of the “Englisch Lehrplan für die Grundschule (2008)”. (You can download a pdf for free: just google “Englisch Lehrplan Grundschule NRW”).

Bibliography

The Dauerapparat Grundschulunterricht Englisch in the library will also provide students with literature about teaching English in primary school.
