Diese für alle Master-Studierenden der Literaturwissenschaft verpflichtende Einführungsveranstaltung führt in das Profil des Fachs ein und legt dabei den systematischen Schwerpunkt auf die Fragen danach, was Literatur ist und was die Wissenschaft von ihr zu leisten hat. Neben einigen literarischen Texten werden grundlegende Theorietexte (Auszüge) erarbeitet.
Das Seminar wird teilweise als Blockveranstaltung in Form einer fünftägigen Exkursion vom 28.06. bis zum 02.07.2015 ins Deutsche Literaturarchiv/Schiller Nationalmuseum nach Marbach durchgeführt. Die Teilnahme an dieser Exkursion ist verbindlich für das erfolgreiche Absolvieren der Mastereinführung. Wir werden im Collegienhaus des Literaturarchivs in Marbach übernachten und im Archiv arbeiten; Führungen und Besuche im George- und Hölderlin-Archiv Stuttgart und im Mörike Museum Cleversulzbach sind vorgesehen.
Die Exkursion wird von der Universität bezuschusst.
Eine verbindliche Anmeldung ab sofort bis spätestens zum 16. April 2015 ist erforderlich unter Anzahlung von € 60 bei Frau Beyn (Zimmer D 4 – 110, Tel.: 0521–1066983, vormittags bis 12.30 Uhr).
