In diesem Seminar sollen Gedichte von Autoren der unmittelbaren Gegenwart besprochen werden. Gegenwartsliteratur ist als Begriff offen und kann vieles meinen, hier soll er heißen: Die Gedichte/Bände sind nach 2010 entstanden und publiziert. Neben einer genauen Textinterpretation, die ohne die Hilfen der Sekundärliteratur erarbeitet werden muss, soll so ein gewisser Eindruck entstehen, wie divers und offen die Lyrikszene der Gegenwart ist. Eine Beteiligung der Mitstreiter bei der Textauswahl ist sehr erwünscht!
Als Textbasis stehen einige Anthologien zur Verfügung, u.a. die, von der der Titel des Seminars entlehnt ist, dazu jeweils das Jahrbuch der Lyrik. Natürlich werden auch einzelne Gedichtbände einbezogen, sobald wir uns auf einen Autor verständigt haben.
In einem zweiten, knapperen Teil soll auch deutschsprachige Songlyrik der Gegenwart auf ihre textuelle Qualität hin angeschaut werden. Das mögliche Spektrum reicht von Grönemeyer bis Tocotronic. Hier sind die Teilnehmer/innen besonders gefordert bei der Auswahl!

Kenntnisse der Lyrikanalyse und die Bereitschaft, sich diskutierend auf (schwierige) Texte einzulassen, zu denen i.d.R. keine Sekundärliteratur vorliegt.
