Die Theory Class „Denkraum Theorie“ bietet Promovierenden einen Raum, um sich intensiv mit Theorien und theoretischen Fragestellungen auseinanderzusetzen, die für ihre historische, kunsthistorische und/oder soziologische Forschung eine zentrale Rolle spielen. Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars steht die Verbindung von Theoriearbeit und Forschungsprozess. Die Teilnehmenden bringen theoretische Texte mit, die für ihre eigene Dissertation und Forschungsarbeit von Relevanz sind. Diese Texte werden gemeinsam in der Gruppe gelesen, analysiert und diskutiert.
