Das Seminar gibt zunächst einen grundlegenden Einblick in das pädagogische Handlungsfeld der (Hochschul)Beratung. Neben der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit Themen wie sozialer Herkunft, Chancengerechtigkeit und Habitus-Struktur-Konflikt wird sich im Seminar besonders dem Thema Klassismus - der Diskriminierung aufgrund sozialer Herkunft - gewidmet. Das Konzept des Habitus nach Bourdieu wird dabei eine zentrale Rolle spielen. Bezug wird zudem auf die Beratungspraxis und die Zielgruppe der Erstakademiker*innen an der Hochschule genommen, mögliche Hürden und Herausforderungen mit denen diese konfronitiert sein können, herausgearbeitet und diskutiert.
Ziel ist die kritische Reflexion von Beratungsinhalten und des eigenen pädagogischen Handelns.
Voraussetzung ist das Interesse an der Reflektion der eigenen Rolle und Bildungsbiografie.
Diese Veranstaltung berücksichtigt inhaltlich insbesondere die Aspekte des Leitbildes für die Lehre im Hinblick auf Genderaspekte, Vielfalt der Menschen, Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und Berufsfeldorientierung.
