The world we live in is changing faster and faster, and with it the habitats for many species. These changes pose certain challenges for living organisms. This module teaches the importance (for research and nature conservation) and the basics of carrying out fauna monitoring. In a combination of theory and practice, participants will gain insights into various methods and techniques of faunistic monitorings, as well as methods for measuring environmental parameters and practical aspects of how animals cope with urbanisation.
