230445 Kommunikative, kognitive und kulturelle Aspekte des Medienwandels: Zur Geschichte der sprachtragenden Medien (S) (WiSe 2005/2006)

In diesem Seminar sollen die wichtigsten Ergebnisse der Forschung zur Entwicklung der sprachtragenden Medien (wie z.B. Ton- und Steintafeln, Papyrus, Pergamentcodex, Papierblatt, Buch, analoge und digitale Medien) vorgestellt. An Beispielen soll die Wirkung des Medienwandels auf menschliche Kommunikation, Kognition und Kultur untersucht werden, wobei verschiedene Theorien zum Zusammenhang von Medienwandel, Sprachwandel und Kulturwandel herangezogen werden.
Als einführende Lektüre empfehle ich folgende Aufsätze von Jan und Aleida Assmann:
