Das Feld der Diskursforschung ist sehr unübersichtlich. Unter den Labels „Diskurstheorie“ und „Diskursanalyse“ wird ganz verschiedene Forschung betrieben. Trotz aller Unterschiede eint diese Zugänge allerdings ein spezifisches Erkenntnisinteresse: Sie untersuchen Prozesse der gesellschaftlichen Durchsetzung von Deutungs- und Handlungsmustern (sogenannten Diskursen). Die (Re-) Produktion von Diskursen gilt dabei als das Ergebnis von Machtbeziehungen.
Im Seminar setzen wir uns auf drei Ebenen mit der Diskursanalyse als Forschungsperspektive auseinander. Zum einen werden verschiedene diskurstheoretische und -analytische Ansätze diskutiert. Zum anderen beschäftigen wir uns mit den forschungspragmatischen Fragen der Durchführung einer Diskursanalyse. Darüber hinaus mündet die Aneignung der diskursanalytischen Forschungsperspektive in der Umsetzung eigener Forschungsarbeiten. Dabei werden die ersten Arbeitsschritte gemeinsam im Seminar reflektiert und begleitet.Das Seminar wird in Blockform angeboten.
