In diesem Seminar erhalten Studierende einen praxisorientierten Überblick über die zentralen Methoden der Kindheitsforschung. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Erkenntnis, dass Kindheitsforschung nicht nur über Kinder, sondern häufig mit ihnen betrieben wird. Dabei wird das Augenmerk auf die Bedeutung des Zuhörens, das Ernstnehmen der Perspektiven von Kindern und ihre aktive Einbindung in den Forschungsprozess gelegt. Das Seminar stellt verschiedene methodische Ansätze vor, mit denen die Bedürfnisse und Sichtweisen von Kindern erfasst werden können und bietet Einblicke in die Chancen und Herausforderungen der Forschung mit Kindern.
