230472 Social and Cultural Studies Special: (Post-)Colonial Discourses (BS) (SoSe 2025)

This class is part of the Project "Bielefeld Postkolonial" (Bi-Poko) headed by Prof. Dr. Ellen Grünkemeier.

This course focuses on (post-)colonial discourses in Britain and Germany and will give you some background and context as well as helpful toolkits and terminology (from e.g., Hall, Foucault, and generally from Postcolonial Studies) for the subsequent in-depth pursuit of individual topics in your profile module papers.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen, notwendige Vorkenntnisse

Students in the FsB 2017 should have completed BM1 and BM2 before attending Social and Cultural Studies.
Students in the FsB 2022 need to have passed the Language Proficiency Test before attending this class.
