Das Seminar behandelt aktuelle Themen aus dem Gründungsmanagement und dient in der Regel als Basis für die Anfertigung der Bachelorarbeit. Durch das Seminar soll, unter entsprechender Anleitung, die Fähigkeit zur eigenständigen Bearbeitung einer wissenschaftlichen oder praxisorientierten Problemstellung aus dem Gründungsmanagement erlangt werden. Darüber hinaus sollen methodische Schlüsselkompetenzen im Zusammenhang mit der Anfertigung wissenschaftlicher oder praxisorientierter Texte und der mündlichen Präsentation von Arbeitsergebnissen vermittelt und vertieft werden.
