Dieses Seminar behandelt grundlegende Untersuchungsfelder der Moralpsychologie, einschließlich der Themenfelder moralisches Urteilen, moralische Emotionen, moralisches Verhalten. Es werden beispielsweise Modelle der moralischen Urteilsbildung und die Zuschreibung moralischen Charakters in der sozialen Wahrnehmung einerseits und Determinanten von prosozialem, kooperativem, altruistischem versus eigennützigen, unmoralischem Verhalten andererseits beleuchtet. Wir diskutieren verschiedene methodische Zugänge, mögliche Anwendungsbereiche und Schnittstellen der sozialpsychologischen Moralforschung zu weiteren (Sub-)disziplinen wie der politischen Psychologie oder Moralphilosophie.

Bitte beachten Sie: Das Seminar findet wöchentlich 3-stündig statt. Dabei entfallen die Sitzungen nach der Pfingstwoche.

Teilnehmerbegrenzung: 30 Personen. Unabgemeldetes Nichterscheinen zur ersten Sitzung hat den Verfall des Seminarplatzes zur Folge.

Studienleistung (für alle erforderlich): Mitgestaltung von ein bis zwei Seminarsitzungen, i.d.R. gemeinsam mit mehreren weiteren Teilnehmer*innen (i.d.R. kurze Präsentation einer empirischen Originalarbeit und Vorbereitung von Diskussionsfragen mit Moderation der Diskussion zu einer weiteren empirischen oder theoretischen Originalarbeit). Die Studienleistung setzt eine rechtzeitige Einreichung der Präsentation unter Berücksichtigung der Hinweise und angemessene Berücksichtigung der Rückmeldung hierzu voraus. Die Literatur ist vornehmlich englischsprachig.
