Studierende


Die Studierenden können ihre bisher erworbenen Kenntnisse über Diversität und Ungleichheit selbständig einbringen und anwenden, indem sie gesellschaftliche Ein- und Ausschlussmechanismen im Bereich von Gesundheit und Versorgung erkennen, benennen und erklären. Weiter können sie ihre eigene Rolle als Mediziner*innen im Prozess der Ermöglichung von Gesundheit und Versorgung einschätzen.


Die Studierenden erlernen differenzbezogene Mechanismen der Exklusion und Inklusion in Gesundheit und Versorgung im Lebenslauf von Menschen kennen. Vor dem Hintergrund empirischer Studien zu sozialen Ein- und Ausschlussmechanismen richtet sich der Fokus auf die Praxis der (angehenden) Mediziner*innen. Dazu zählt die Diversität der Mediziner*innen selbst (soziale Herkunft, Geschlecht, hierarchische Positionen, Sprache, etc.). Dabei stellt das Seminar insofern Bezüge zu Modul 5-I-IP-DGV1 und Modul 5-I-IP-DGV2 her, als darin explizite wie implizite Einflüsse des medizinischen Systems und des Handelns darin tätiger Ärzt*innen auf gesellschaftliche Ein- und Ausschlussmechanismen hin reflektiert werden. Unter anderem werden hier geschlechtsspezifische Interaktionen zwischen medizinischem Personal und Patient*innen in den Blick genommen. Dies umfasst die Transitionsprozesse (Alter, Geschlecht, Gesundheit) von Menschen, diskriminierende (z.B. rassistische, sexistische) Erfahrungen sowie Migrations- oder Fluchterfahrungen und unterschiedliche kulturelle Hintergründe in der Diagnostik. Insbesondere wird die Position von Mediziner*innen selbst im Prozess der Ermöglichung von Gesundheit und Versorgung diskutiert.
