Beim Erlernen einer Zweit- oder Fremdsprache stehen Lernende vor einer wesentlichen Hürde: Sie müssen von Muttersprachlern verstanden werden. Dafür ist neben Grammatik und Wortschatz vorrangig die Aussprachekompetenz wichtig. In diesem Seminar werden exemplarisch die neuesten empirischen Forschungsarbeiten zum Ausspracheerwerb rezipiert und deren Forschungsdesgin analysiert. Es sollen in diesem Zusammenhang eigene Fragestellungen entwickelt und für die Durchführung einer empirischen Projektarbeit verschiedene Forschungsverfahren diskutiert werden. Aus diesem Grund ist die regelmäßige Fachlektüre - auch auf Englisch - unerlässlich. Ausgehend von den erörterten theoretischen Grundlagen und der Untersuchungsergebnisse werden Implikationen für das Lehren der deutschen Aussprache erarbeitet.
