Arbeitsform: Referate & Plenumsdiskussion
Inhalt: Im Hinblick auf die sehr naheliegende Frage nach den ¿Wirkungen¿ Sozialer Arbeit, ist zwischen ihren Funktionen und Zwecken zu differenzieren. Funktionale Analysen legen das Hauptaugenmerk auf die Einbindung der Sozialen Arbeit in den Sozialstaat. Analytisch davon zu trennen sind Entwürfe die auf die, durch die Soziale Arbeit selbst gesetzten, Zwecke abzielen. Solche normativen Entwürfe sind im Hinblick auf eine weitere Professionalisierung der Sozialen Arbeit zu beurteilen. In diesem Seminar sollen solche funktionalen Analysen und normativen Entwürfe von Sozialer Arbeit dahingehend diskutiert werden, welche Ziel- und Wirkungsvorstellungen in ihnen zum Tragen kommen, und inwiefern zwischen ¿Sein¿ und ¿Sollen¿ Differenzen, aber auch Gemeinsamkeiten bestehen.
Leistungsnachweise können über eine Hausarbeit oder ein Referat (incl. schriftlicher Ausarbeitung) erworben werden.
