230507 Berufsfeldbezogene Praxisstudie - Anglistik (Grundschule) (Pstu)/Betreuungsseminar für profilbezogene Praxisstudien. Profil: English as a Foreign Language (Grundschule) (BS) (WiSe 2014/2015)

Contents, comment

The course is for students of the old study course (Studienmodell 2002) and the new study course (Studienmodell 2011) doing an internship in primary school.
If the dates with your internship and the sessions of this seminar overlap it will be no problem to change dates of the sessions in coordination with all course participants.

The focus of this course is on individual prompting and differentiation in the EFL primary school classroom.
You will learn how to plan and structure a lesson with a special view on individual prompting and differentiation for every child in the classroom. Together we will plan English units and lessons including the syllabus (Lehrplan 2008).
I will introduce different course books and show up how differentiation is implemented. Furthermore you will get a basic idea of research in the language classroom.

If possible (depends on possible date changes and the class teacher) we'll invite a class to the university so that we can teach our planned lesson in practice.

Dates:
The first meeting will be in the second week of the semester (Tue 14.10.14; 16:00-18:00).
Internship:
Your Internship is supposed to be a bloc before the Easter holidays. The students of the old study course (2002) will find the dates on the homepage of the BiSEd.
