360037 Theologie des Herzens - allein oder zusammen? (S) (WiSe 2024/2025)

Ich weiß nicht, ob Sie »Religion« nur mit dem Kopf wahrnehmen oder einen
»ganzheitlichen« Zugang dazu haben. Mir selbst bedeutet der intellektuelle Zugang
zu Theologie viel, aber eben auch der körperliche, der gemeinschaftliche und der
künstlerische.
Anhand des kleinen Büchleins von John Westerhoff, »Will our children have faith?«
möchte ich mit Ihnen gern solche Fragen diskutieren. Das Buch hat, wie der Titel
verrät, ein religionspädagogisches »Leitmotiv«, geht aber weit darüber hinaus und
beleuchtet weite Teile des kirchlichen Lebens unserer Zeit zum Teil kritisch.
Denjenigen, die angesichts fremdsprachiger Literatur ein wenig befangen sind, stelle
ich gern eine selbst erstellte Übersetzung zur Verfügung. Diejenigen, die Freude daran
haben, einmal einen englischen Text zu lesen, dürfen sich gern den Titel besorgen und
schon ein wenig darin herumschmökern.
Für die, die daran Interesse haben, könnte ich mir gut vorstellen, eine
Querverbindung zwischen dieser Veranstaltung und dem »Grundkurs
Religionspädagogik« (s. dort) zu ziehen.
