Im Seminar sollen ausgewählte lyrische und poetologische Texte der Moderne (Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts, frühes 20. Jahrhundert) analysiert und interpretiert werden. Je nach Interesse der Teilnahme kommen in Frage: Arno Holz, Stefan George, Paul Valéry, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Rainer Maria Rilke, Rudolf Borchardt, W.C. Williams, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Guillaume Apollinaire, Ezra Pound, Georg Trakl, Gottfried Benn, Saint-John Perse, T. S. Eliot, Wladimir Majakowskij, Bertolt Brecht ...
