Im kommenden Jahr zeigt das Museum Peter August Böckstiegel eine Ausstellung über den Sohn des Künstlers: „Von Westfalen in die ganze Welt // Dem Fotografen Vincent Böckstiegel zum 100.“ (12.02.–11.05.2025). Vincent wurde oft als Hüter des Erbes seines Vaters wahrgenommen, sodass sein eigenes Werk weniger Aufmerksamkeit erhielt, obwohl er als Kameramann sowie Fotograf hochwertige Schwarzweißaufnahmen schuf. Diese Ausstellung blickt nun zum ersten Mal retrospektiv auf das künstlerische Schaffen von Vincent Böckstiegel in Kombination mit Werken von Studierenden der Hochschule Bielefeld (HSBI) und Veit Mette.
In diesem Seminar entwickeln wir eine Veranstaltung für das Ausstellungsbegleitprogramm, die im Februar oder März 2025 stattfinden soll: Wir entscheiden gemeinsam über das Format, entwickeln ein Konzept, kümmern uns um die Organisation, planen Marketingmaßnahmen und führen die Veranstaltung durch.
Die Veranstaltung findet zweiwöchentlich statt, der erste Termin ist am Montag, 14.10.2024, 12–14 Uhr.Laura Oymanns leitet die Kunstvermittlung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit am Peter August Böckstiegel Museum, Werther/Westfalen.
