Im Fokus stehen die stetige Ausdifferenzierung der Jugendphase sowie sich wandelnde Perspektiven auf Jugend(en) im 20. Jahrhundert. Bedingt durch gesellschaftliche Veränderungsprozesse lassen sich unterschiedliche Deutungszuweisungen und Pluralisierungsformen für diese Lebensphase konstatieren. Erkennbar wird hierbei die soziale Konstruktion dieser Lebensphase, welche Diskussionsgegenstand des Seminars sein soll.
