Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes im Masterstudiengang oder bei Erstellung einer empirischen Masterarbeit müssen nicht immer zwingend eigene Daten (sogenannte Primärdaten) erhoben und analysiert werden. Durch die wachsende internetgestützte Bereitstellung von umfangreichen Datensätzen aus Sozial- und Bildungsforschung können Studierende alternativ auch auf Sekundärdaten zugreifen und diese für eigene Fragestellungen auswerten. Im Seminar sollen entsprechende Quellen von Sekundärdaten gesichtet, hinsichtlich ihrer erziehungswissenschaftlichen Relevanz bewertet und mittels statistischer Analysesoftware beispielhaft ausgewertet werden.
