Multivariate Analysemethoden sind für die Auswertung empirischer Untersuchungen von enormer Bedeutung. Ziel des Seminars ist es, die Studierenden verständlich und schrittweise an die gängigsten Verfahren heranzuführen. Im Vordergrund stehen herbei die konkreten Umsetzungen und weniger die mathematischen Zusammenhänge, ohne dabei den methodisch-theoretischen Hintergrund zu vernachlässigen. Die praktische Umsetzung der Lerninhalte erfolgt mit Hilfe der Open-Source-Statistiksoftware „R“.
