We will study some of the most puzzling, thought provoking and conversation-stimulating problems and questions in ethics. These problems are self-contained, so no background is presupposed. Examples of problems and questions we will discuss include the trolley problem, the problem of moral luck, and the question of whether being rich is incompatible with being a socialist.
Diese Veranstaltung kann als Handwerksseminar im Rahmen des Philosophischen Einstiegs gewählt werden.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
