Zielarten dieser Exkursion sind stark bedrohte Wiesenlimikolen (Kiebitz, Großer Brachvogel, Uferschnepfe, Bekassine, Kampfläufer), die wir im NSG Ochsenmoor am Dümmer in einzigartiger Weise und ohne Störung beim Führen ihrer Jungen beobachten können. Wir vertiefen zudem die Schutzkonzepte für Wiesenlimikolen am Dümmer in Theorie und Praxis. Viele weitere seltene Arten (z. B. Fischadler, Seeadler, Rohrweihe, Trauerseeschwalbe, Blaukehlchen, Rohrschwirl, Rohrdommel) sind mit etwas Glück auch zu beobachten.

Geplantes Programm
-Vogelbeobachtung Wiesenlimikolen im NSG Ochsenmoor am Dümmer.
-Ausstellung Schutz wiesenbrütender Limikolen in der Naturschutzstation Dümmer.
-Erläuterung Schutzkonzepte für Wiesenlimikolen am Dümmer durch Experte Thorsten Obracay.
Treffpunkt: Naturschutzstation Dümmer, Am Ochsenmoor 52, 48448 Hüde um 15.30 Uhr.
Anfahrt: Eigenverantwortliche Anreise mittels Fahrgemeinschaften zum Treffpunkt (einfache Fahrt ab Uni Bielefeld ungefähr eine Stunde per Auto). Für bis zu acht Studierende besteht Mitfahrgelegenheit ab Uni (14.00 Uhr Parkplatz VHF; für die Mitfahrgelegenheit ab Uni müssen Sie sich gesondert bei S. Boltersdorf per Email anmelden).

Anmerkungen: Fernglas, Bestimmungsliteratur, wetterfeste Kleidung und Proviant erforderlich/vorteilhaft.
