Das Verständnis statistischer Methoden stellt eine Kernkompetenz in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften dar. Diese Vorlesung bildet den Startpunkt der entsprechenden Ausbildung in der Nutzung statistischer Verfahren. Die in der Vorlesung behandelten Themenkomplexe sind:

– Deskriptive und explorative Statistik
– Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung
– Zufallsvariablen

Die Vorlesung ist Teil des Moduls "31-M3 Statistik", welches mit einer Modulprüfung über die drei Vorlesungen "Statistik I", "Statistik II" und "Einführung in die Informatik" abzuschließen ist. Die beiden letztgenannten Vorlesungen werden im Sommersemester 2025 angeboten. Die Anmeldung zu der Modulprüfung wird bis Anfang Juli 2025 möglich sein.
