This class consists of regular and intensive writing tasks order to give participants the opportunity to extend and improve their writing skills in literary studies through. We will practise how to develop a research question in literary studies through a range of exercises and elaborate on how to turn this question (or set of questions) into a clear and detailed thesis statement as a basis for a well-structured argument. Finally, we will practice how to write a coherent, cohesive, stylistically elegant paper.
Ultimately, the class aims at helping students to prepare for writing their module paper / one essay in the “Introduction to Literary Studies” (Basic Module 2 / Basis 2)
