This seminar explores the two-way relationship between sports and the media, focusing more closely on the influences shaped by images, narratives and storytelling around sociological aspects in the sport system.
We attempt to discuss how sports, athletes and/or teams might be used as a platform to drive social causes, movements, ideologies and even political agendas.
