Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars steht die Rolle der Lehrkraft im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Diese wird aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven betrachtet, u.a. aus der Sicht der Unterrichtsdiagnostik und (De)Motivationsforschung, bevor die diaktischen Entscheidungen der Lehrperson unter die Lupe genommen werden. Diese und weitere Fragen werden im Seminar beleuchtet: Wie kann die Lehrkraft den Unterricht optimal auf die Bedürfnisse der Lernenden abstimmen? Welche Entscheidungen (u.a. bei der Unterrichtsplanung und Auswahl von Lernmaterialien) können die Qualität des Unterrichts verbessern?
