211490 Streumethoden in der Chemie (V) (WiSe 2024/2025)

Streumethoden erlauben es die Struktur und Dynamik von kondensierter Materie von der atomaren Skala bis hin zu kolloidalen Dimensionen zu untersuchen. Sie sind, neben der hochauflösenden (Elektronen)-Mikroskopie, die wichtigsten Methoden in der Untersuchung von „einfachen“ Flüssigkeiten und weicher Materie (Polymere, Biopolymere, Kolloide, Nanosysteme).
Die Vorlesung wird allgemeingültige Gesetzmäßigkeiten, die für alle Streumethoden gelten einführen, um sich dann insbesondere der Neutronenstreuung (Kleinwinkelstreuung und Neutronenspinecho), der Kleinwinkelröntgenstreuung sowie der statischen und dynamischen Lichtstreuung zu widmen. Die verschiedenen Methoden werden anhand von Beispielen aus der aktuellen Forschung dargestellt.
