In der Geschlechterforschung versucht das Konzept der Intersektionalität verschiedene Achsen der Ungleichheit zusammenzudenken, z. B. Geschlecht, sozialen Status, 'Ethnizität'/'Rasse', Religion, Sexualität oder Befähigung. Das Seminar gibt einen Überblick über die Entwicklung intersektionaler Forschung und Theorie. Dabei sollen konzeptionelle, theoretische und methodologische Fragen sowie die Anwendung/Anwendbarkeit in den Geschichtswissenschaften diskutiert werden.
