In den Arbeitsfeldern der Umwelt- und Landschaftsplanung sowie in öffentlichen (Umwelt-)einrichtungen ist die Aufnahme, Auswertung und Bewertung von Lebensraumeigenschaften (Tier- und Pflanzenarten, Pflanzengesellschaften, Bodeneigenschaften) notwendige Grundlage.
In diesem Kurs werden im Verlauf einer Woche zunächst Vegetationsdaten in einem botanisch interessanten Gebiet aufgenommen, und Formenkenntnis und Kartierungsmethoden eingeübt. Die Artenlisten werden aufbereitet, um Tabellen- und Kartenmaterial über Lebensraumtypen und Artvorkommen zu erstellen. Auf dieser Grundlage wird dann eine Bewertung des Lebensraums entworfen.
Der Kurs wird seinen Schwerpunkt auf der Vegetation des kartierten Bereichs haben. Eine Kartierung von Tierarten ist in Absprache möglich.
Die Veranstaltung wird voraussichtlich an zwei Tagen draußen stattfinden, weitere zwei Tage stehen zur Aufbereitung der Daten und ein letzter Tag zur Bewertung und Diskussion zur Verfügung.
