All participants are expected to have basic knowledge of elementary statistics,
linear algebra, analysis, and probability. An introductory econometrics course
---roughly the first eight chapters of Wooldridge (2009)---is helpful but not required.Appendices A and B of the main text contain a concise summary of the relevant
matrix algebra and the probability background.Students are assumed to fill gaps in their knownledge prior or during the course
by self study.
