In der Lehrveranstaltung sollen einerseits die rechtlichen Regelungen des Bildungswesens als staatliche Strukturierungsinstrumente und deren politische Hintergründe sowie andererseits die Regelungen, Praktiken und Probleme der Bildungsfinanzierung untersucht werden. Dazu gehört auch der Blick auf die historische Entwicklungslinie des deutschen Bildungswesens und seine Stellung im internationalen Vergleich.
Die Veranstaltung zielt auf ein erweitertes Verständnis von Ansatz und Wirksamkeit bestehender Rechtsregelungen und Finanzierungspraktiken im Bildungswesen sowie deren politischem Hintergrund.
Die Studierenden werden gebeten, zum ersten Termin eine aktuelle Fassung des Grundgesetzes für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland zur Verfügung zu haben. (Internet oder Landeszentrale für politische Bildung)
Für die Studierenden, die einen Leistungsnachweis brauchen: Die Vorausssetzungen für den Leistungsnachweis werden in der ersten Sitzung geklärt.
