Mit dem Begriff "Bildung" geht in der westlichen Tradition das Versprechen nach freier Persönlichkeitsentfaltung und selbstbestimmter Lebensgestaltung einher. Wir wollen uns im Seminar auf die Spur dieses Versprechens begeben. Dazu diskutieren wir klassische (z.B. Humboldt) und zeitgenössische schulische Allgemeinbildungstheorien (z.B. Klafki) und fragen uns mit Brumlik, Sen und Nussbaum, wie Bildung zu einem gelingenden Leben beitragen kann und was wir als Lehrerinnen dazu beisteuern können
