Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung geht es um die Johannesoffenbarung. Ziel der gemeinsamen Arbeit ist es, offenzulegen, wie sehr dieses letzte, oft geheimnisumwitterte Buch des Neuen Testaments sowohl von der jüdisch-apokalyptischen Tradition als auch von den zur Zeit der Abfassung herrschenden, im weitesten Sinne politischen Verhältnissen abhängig ist.
