Diese für alle Master-Studierenden der Literaturwissenschaft verpflichtende Einführungsveranstaltung führt in das Profil des Fachs ein und legt dabei den systematischen Schwerpunkt auf die Fragen danach, was Literatur ist und was die Wissenschaft von ihr zu leisten hat. Neben einigen literarischen Texten werden grundlegende Theorietexte (Auszüge) erarbeitet. Die Veranstaltung wird durch eine einwöchige Tages-Exkursion nach Süddeutschland ergänzt. Die Teilnahme an der Exkursion ist verbindlich.
Die Exkursion wird vom 09.06. bis zum 15.06.2014 stattfinden. Die Exkursion wird bezuschusst. Wir werden im Naturfreundehaus Tuttlingen-Möhringen übernachten und von dort aus Tagesfahrten mit dem Bus unternehmen.Eine verbindliche Anmeldung ab sofort bis spätestens zum 11. April 2014 ist erforderlich unter Anzahlung von € 100 bei Frau Beyn (Zimmer D 4 – 110, Tel.: 0521–1065264, vormittags bis 12.30 Uhr). Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 50 begrenzt (Kooperation mit dem gemeinsam mit Prof. Dr. Meinolf Schumacher veranstalteten Seminar 'Karneval: Theorie und Geschichte').
