In der Veranstaltung soll die Erklärungskraft soziologischer Theorien und Ansätze mit Bezug auf konkrete empirische Gegenstände (Durkheims faits sociaux) untersucht und geprüft werden.
In der Sitzung am Freitag, den 11.04.2014, 18:00 Uhr sollen gemeinsam die empirischen Gegen-stände ausgewählt und abgestimmt werden, auf die dann mit geeigneten sozialwissenschaftlichen Theorieansätzen „erklärend“ Bezug genommen werden soll. Die Fragestellung dabei ist: was sozio-logische Theorien und Ansätze für einen genuinen wissenschaftlichen Mehrwert hinsichtlich der „Erklärung“ der ausgewählten Gegenstände und Themen bieten (über „Alltagstheorien“ und Erklä-rungsansätze anderer Disziplinen hinaus). Unter Bezug auf konkrete empirische Geegenstände soll also untersucht werden, was genuine soziologische Erklärungskraft ist!
Die Veranstaltung ist nicht für Anfänger geeignet, eine Vertrautheit mit dem Spektrum soziologischer Theorien bzw. Theorieansätze ist Voraussetzung!
Da ich hauptberuflich außerhalb des Wissenschaftsbereichs arbeite und unter der Woche nicht stabil verfügbar bin, muss das Hauptseminar als Blockveranstaltung durchgeführt werden. Die Blöcke finden jeweils an Samstagen von 14:00 s.t. bis 18:30 Uhr statt. Folgende Termine sind geplant: 17.05.2012, 31.05.2012, 14.06.2012, 28.06.2012, 05.07.2012, die Veranstaltung findet statt im Raum T2-149.
Alles Nähere besprechen wir am Freitag, den 11.04.2012, 18:00 Uhr. In dieser Vorbesprechung werden „Gegenstände“ abgestimmt und Arbeitsgruppen gebildet – welche „Gegenstände“ möchten Sie mit welchen „Theorieansätzen“ bearbeiten? Es darf selbstverständlich experimentiert werden – wenn Theorieansätze sich womöglich als unfruchtbare Holzwege erweisen, werden eben andere Ansätze in Anschlag gebracht.
