The seminar will enable students to deepen and broaden their knowledge in the area of amnesic disorders through exposure to both seminal, core articles in the field and cutting-edge material as well as critical discussions.

This seminar is primarily offered to students of Psychology/Bachelor.
Knowledge about the basics of neuroanatomy, learning and memory, neuropsychological methods and experimental methods is desired (see Pritzel, M., Brand, M. & Markowitsch, H.J. (2003). The participants are required to take part to the entire block seminar and give a 45 minutes oral presentation on a topic that is relevant to the theme of the seminar (incl. discussion time) and prepare and document in writing the assigned topic (unbenotete Einzelleistung) .
