As educators, we face questions such as: How can I teach Shakespeare in a way that
sparks my students' interest? How should we approach short stories, cartoons, or
caricatures? What strategies can we employ to analyze complex and challenging poems?
In this student-led study group, we will explore various methods for approaching the
literature assigned to students in schools. We take guidance from the curriculum provided by
the "Bildungsministerium NRW", which outlines the key themes and materials for English
lessons. Our primary aim is to find thematic and content-related approaches that will enable students to engage with literature effectively
in the classroom.
We welcome suggestions for specific literary works or innovative teaching methods. Our
ultimate goal, as students, is to establish a foundation of approaches that we can later
incorporate into our own teaching practices.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
