In diesem Seminar werden wir Texte von Auschwitz-Überlebenden lesen, die in polnischer Sprache geschrieben wurden. Die Auswahl der Quellen umfasst sowohl veröffentlichte als auch unveröffentlichte Zeugnisse, autobiographische und literarische Texte, ikonische und weniger bekannte Schriften. Wir bekommen Einblicke in die Lagerszpracha (Wolf Oschlies), das Alltagsleben in einem Konzentrations- und Vernichtungslager sowie darin, wie sich der gesellschaftliche Umgang mit Auschwitz und dem Holocaust im Nachkriegspolen veränderte.
