Sexualität wird heute mit all ihren Fassetten öffentlich dargestellt, verhandelt und vermarktet, was zur Folge hat, dass Kinder und Jugendliche in besonderer Weise mit diesem Thema konfrontiert werden. Sexualerziehung muss den besonderen Lernvoraussetzungen der Schülerinnen und Schüler, ihren familiären und religiösen Hintergründen gerecht werden und darf sich nicht auf körperliche Aspekte beschränken. Vielmehr muss Sexualerziehung Identitäts-, Beziehungs-, Lust- und Gesundheitsaspekte mit einbeziehen. Damit wird dieses Thema zu einer besonderen Herausforderung für Lehrerinnen und Lehrer.
Schwerpunkt der zweiten Hälfte dieses Seminars ist das Thema
"Sexueller Missbrauch" und die damit für den Sachunterricht verbundene Fragestellung der Prävention.
