ieser Kurs bietet einen Überblick über den Zweiten Weltkrieg in der Sowjetunion. Der Schwerpunkt des Kurses liegt nicht auf den militärischen Aspekten des Krieges, sondern behandelt ihn aus sozialen, wirtschaftlichen und kulturellen Perspektiven. Studierende werden die aktuellen historiographischen Debatten und Probleme dieses Themas kennenlernen. Im Rahmen des Seminars werden wir uns mit den folgenden Themen auseinandersetzen: Leben in den besetzten Gebieten, Ausbruch des Holocausts an der Ostfront, Kriegsindustrie und Kriegswirtschaft , Geschlechterbeziehungen an Front und Heimatfront, Erinnerungskultur und ihre politische Nutzung im heutigen Russland.
