Betrachtet werden die historischen Entwicklungslinien der organisationsinternen Beratung, die darunter zusammengefassten multiplen Beratungsformate, deren Institutionalisierung und sich daraus ergebenden Limitationen und Möglichkeiten. Beratungsansätze werden aus Perspektive sozialtheoretischer Theorien kritisch reflektiert u.a. im Hinblick auf Rollen, Abhängigkeiten, Hierarchien, Machtdynamiken und gesellschaftliche Normen.
